Jesus Feeds The 5000

My artistic rendition of Jesus feeding the 5,000 was painted live during worship at Victory Church in Fort Erie Ontario Canada on Sunday January 10th, 2016. This painting is 8th in my series on the life of Jesus that I've taken on as a 30-day painting challenge.

I painted echoes of the bread so show that the small loaves were supernaturally multiplied in order to feed the large crowd.  The perspective is from the viewpoint of Jesus, so we can picture ourselves serving others like this, because Jesus said we are to use his life as an example and go out and do even greater things than these.

Hi, Melani, I love your painting, it says so much. May use the image on the Web for the front of a reflection handout for a group of 10 people in our Church who pray the Sunday Gospels each week?

Hi Mealani,

I love your painting of the feeding of the 5,000. I was wondering if I could have your permission to use it as part of my sermon this week in worship. I would mention your name and the fact that this was created during a worship service.

I preach at Monte Vista Presbyterian Church in Newbury Park. I am actually preaching on Jesus' walking on water which immediately follows the feeding of the 5,000 (which I preached on last week). I just found the painting today. If you prefer I not use it, thanks for considering but I am simply grateful I found your sight.
