Today's painting, like Psalm 83, is a prayer that God would show His power to destroy the many surrounding enemies. I painted the background first, and noticed a dove shape in the light area, so I went with it, and you can still see it beneath the attacking lion which symbolizes God's power. I love the contrast here: a dove is a symbol of peace.
