Beginning November 15, 2009, my goal is to create a small painting each day, each of which will be based on a Psalm in the Bible.  Each day, the image will be posted on www.melpyke.com, sent to everyone on my list of e-subscribers, and broadcast other places as well, as opportunities arise.

Purpose:
- To visually communicate God's ideas to people who may not otherwise read a daily devotional
- To raise awareness for Christian visual arts
- To practice my technique and develop my individual style
- To create a collection of paintings for upcoming exhibits and books

Each day I will study one of the Psalms and will create an image from it.  Each one will be painted on a 6x6" canvas and will be for sale for $50 including shipping within North America, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
They will all be rounded up again for a travelling exhibit in 2012.
